During the winter months we had to do some rock hammering for a water line job here in Spokane. We had to go 60 feet 4 1/2 feet deep through some of the hardest rock in the world. This job called for serious iron- enter a Case 220 excavator with hammer.   Got to like those heated cabs! We got the job finished and had another happy customer.

A full landscape was done about 6 months prior to the sewer hook up, a little bit of “cart before the horse”- a lot of plywood, topsoil, and some grass seed finished it out nice after the sewer hookup was completed!

This is a project that I did on the South Hill, a fairly nice landscape, sprinkler system, were among the challenges to this waterline replacement.  Plywood was laid down for the whole job which went a long ways to preserving the customers yard and landscaping.

This was a great job- a win win for myself and the customer. The only bad part of sewer was under the driveway, which required only cutting 2′ ofF the length of the drive, leaving plenty of concrete for driveway and parking. With the savings the customer chose to tear out old shrubbery, lay down weed cloth and round rock. Its hard to believe its the same job.
